The African Independent Congress (AIC) is a political party in South Africa, established in the early 21st century, specifically in 2005. It was born out of a local dispute in the Matatiele municipality over provincial boundaries, which were redrawn, moving…   the area from KwaZulu-Natal to the Eastern Cape.
