The South African Good political party is a relatively new political entity in South Africa, having been established in December 2018 by Patricia de Lille, who is also its leader. De Lille, a former Mayor of Cape Town and a long-standing figure in South African politics, founded Good as a response to her experiences and disillusionment with the internal politics of her former party, the Democratic Alliance (DA), particularly around issues of race and governance.
